Perilous Times (covid fear) 64
The past couple of weeks we have been looking at the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit especially as it pertains to the removal of the restraint and the revelation of the “man of sin” otherwise known as the anti-christ.
I hope you are starting to see the “falling away, rebellion, or apostasy ” happens prior to that revelation.
Can we say that such a thing is happening within the 'Church' today?
The pope of Rome states openly that salvation is available to all through Jesus as long as one does good. Is that what the Bible says that anyone of any faith/religion will gain entrance to heaven by being good?
Doctrines of demons are rife with those holding Biblical truths being mocked and ridiculed.
Our society is openly being described as post-Christian, there is so much more the discerning reader will recognize, so I think it fair to conclude that “falling away” or apostasy is an aspect of the current time, certainly it can increase but it is in place now and not a future event.
That being said what remains to be fulfilled prior to the revelation of the anti-christ according to Scripture?
Another question could be when during the Tribulation is the restrainer removed? Or is he even removed during the Tribulation?
Is there anything which must happen prior to the fulfilment of 2 Thes 2.6-7?
