Perilous Times (covid/climate fear) 78
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7.14
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matt 1.23
and yet in Luke we read,
And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. Luke 1.31.
Is this a contradiction? Is the Bible to be trusted?
No, and yes in the order above, why then the differing named for Jesus?
When you consider the message in the names you will see
Salvation (Jesus/Yeshua) is God dwelling with us (Immanuel).
