“and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 1 Tim 4.3
One may wonder what the above has to do with perilous times,
after all it's just about food.
For many years it was equated with the Roman Catholic prohibition of eating meat on Fridays and thought to be no more.
