When anyone reads scripture it is imperative that it is read literally and in context! Point in case I was listening to a teaching on the seals of Revelation. In which the teacher made the statement that it was the saints on earth who's call lead Jesus to open the seal judgements. A reading of Revelation 6 the subject of the teaching makes no reference to the saints in conjunction with

the opening of the seals by Jesus, nor upon a in-depth look at Rev 5 where the scene in heaven is in view just prior to the opening of the seals is the church on earth ever in view. Hence the need to read literally and in context to avoid a mistake in interpretation.

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 2 Tim 4.2

In the KJV the word used for teaching above is doctrine, it's funny how some eschew 'doctrine' while embracing 'teachings' (notice the plural ) is that why many are confused and unsure?

We must preach the 'word' even if current thought is otherwise.
