The week started slowly and then went off with a bang, most of the articles are from the last few days. As we get further and further into the Covid hole instability is the norm, misinformation is rampant, lockdowns are again on the increase while actual numbers tend to question the wisdom. Where will it all end?

We who believe the Bible know. Will there be 'revival'? Although we hear reports of un-churched joining in the online experience and salvations happening, but, in the overall scheme of things this cannot be classed as 'revival' the western church has been banging on about 'revival' for more than 30yrs. Is revival prior to the Tribulation indicated in scripture? Or is the western church missing what the 'Spirit' is saying.

During this past week we have seen an increase in measures designed to limit the spread of Covid. One measure leads to more confusion than the last with inconsistencies rife and frustrations mounting.

Politicians accepting 'science' without scrutiny and scientists contradicting one an other.

Are we rapidly approaching the time where the world calls for a man 'be he God or devil' to sort things out? Remember 'God is not the author of confusion'.

As the world continues to unravel the believer has a word, 'Comfort one another with these words'. 1 Thes 4.18

What words?

Apostle Paul has just outlined the gathering of the believer by the Lord to the Lord, 1 Thes 4.13-18, a very specific portion of Scripture which is denied by many, why?

Maybe as it sounds so fantastic as to be unbelievable, as many think God no longer intervenes in human history in a dramatic way (forgetting or denying the rebirth of Israel as such).

After all it is one thing to believe in personal miracles, for healing or job, relationship or other things but what we are talking about here is universal in scope!

So that brings me to the 'comfort' aspect. Is there any comfort in the thought of entering the Tribulation? No, what comfort can any believer take from that, rather that 'comfort' can only come from

being removed 'caught up' prior to that terrible time.
